HOW I WORK

My work is structured, practical and tailored to the context. Whether you are developing a leader, scaling rapidly, transforming your talent function or facing a critical leadership need, I provide flexible, strategic and hands-on support. Engagements can be structured as advisory, project-based or interim support.

I don't believe in applying a standard framework to every situation. I start by understanding what is happening, what matters most and what the context requires - then work alongside the individual, team or organization to create meaningful and sustainable change..

The objective is never just insight. It's meaningful change that holds in real conditions. I draw on executive coaching, behavioural insight, performance psychology and more than two decades of experience inside complex organizations - always adapting the work to the individual, the context and what the moment actually requires.

The name The Inside comes from surfing. It is the space between the breaking waves and the shore - where surfers observe, recover, reposition and prepare before heading back out. Not passive. Purposeful.

That space is at the heart of how I work. Whether coaching a leader or supporting an organization through change, I create room to observe, think clearly, challenge assumptions and reposition before taking the next step.

About Susan

My career has spanned more than 20 years across international executive search, Talent Acquisition, senior HR leadership and leadership development. Today, as an Executive Coach and talent Advisor, I draw on that experience to support people and organizations through moments of growth, transition and change.

Before founding The Inside, I worked inside global organizations in senior HR leadership and talent roles, including at Allianz, where I led and supported international Talent Acquisition initiatives and coached more than 150 leaders across multiple geographies and matrix environments - from emerging talent to VP and SVP level - delivering more than 1,000 hours of coaching.

My Belief

Performance is rarely only about capability.

It is shaped by courage, clarity, self-awareness and the ability to read a situation, regulate yourself and commit at the right moment - whether in leadership, sport or life transitions.
